Ken Henderson – Founder and Director of Traveling Pickleball Pros
Ken Henderson is in his 50s and currently residing winters in Sarasota Florida and summers in Danbury, Conneticut. Ken is an IPTPA Level II CPTP (Certified Pickleball Teaching Professional) and national medalist. Vast Coaching experience includes: teaching beginner, intermediate and advanced pickleball players both privately and in group classes throughout Florida, New York and Connecticut.Ken also directs successful pickleball tournaments, clinics, round robin socials and mini boot camps. He enjoys teaching players of all levels, the fundamentals of pickleball and the finer points of the game.Current playing experience includes winning gold medals in singles, doubles and mixed doubles throughout 6 states last summer. In April, Ken won the gold medal in singles at the U.S. Open and reached the semifinals in doubles. In November, 2017, Ken won 2 bronze medals in singles and doubles at Nationals in Arizona. “Z”orano Tubo – Co-Director of Traveling Pickleball Pros
“Z”orano, (often times called “Z”) is New York’s first Level II IPTPA CPTP (Certified Pickleball Teaching Professional), as well as New York’s first IPTPA CRS (Certified Rating Specialist). He is a retired broadcast engineer, and currently serves on the Board of Directors at the Boys and Girls Club in Endicott, New York.
As he volunteers and donates his time and effort at no cost to the club, Zorano is proud to have created a new revenue stream for the Boys and Girls Club by increasing memberships via Pickleball, and introducing Pickleball Shootouts to the list of programs offered there. Hosting Clinics, doing private and group lessons, as well as tournaments at the club, has contributed to membership growth and increased revenue to the struggling Nonprofit organization. (100% of the proceeds from his efforts is given directly to the club). It’s “Z”orano’s way of giving back to the Boys and Girls Club and the Community.

Rob coaches athletes privately across his home town of Rochester NY, as well as surrounding states. Cassidy offers classes for all different skill and age levels ranging from the basic shots for beginners, to advanced tactics for advanced players.

Sue Carnevale – IPTPA Level 1 Certified Instructor
Sue Carnevale resides in Beverly, Massachusetts and is a Level I IPTPA Certified Teaching Instructor. She continues to work as a psychologist on the North Shore of Boston, as well as teach as an adjunct professor at Endicott College. Her free time is all about family and pickleball. Sue and her family can usually be found on the home court named Pickleopolis.
Sue has been playing pickleball for many years and has been instrumental in promoting our sport in many areas of Massachusetts. Her love for teaching has extended to the court, where she has instructed pickleball to hundreds of individuals, from elementary schools to senior centers. She has led several pickleball fundraising tournaments, including the annual membership drive for the local Y.

Barbara Norton – IPTPA Level 1 CPTI (Certified Pickleball Teaching Instructor)
Barbara spent 26 years as an elementary school teacher in New Jersey, retiring,and then finding her way back to teaching on the pickleball courts 3 years ago. Her love and passion for the game guides her instruction as she tries to pass that on to all her students. Her lessons emphasize proper mechanics with drill and practice to get students comfortable with the stokes, build their confidence, and encourage them to implement their new skills into their games. Students are given the hows AND the whys in a comfortable, fun environment, and lessons always include modified games and guided play for feedback and positive critique on the courts. Success is the goal and she always strives to find the right approach for every student she teaches.
Barbara has competed and medaled in numerous tournaments, most recently winning Silver in women’s doubles at the Inaugural 2018 NJ Open in Red Bank, NJ, Bronze in Women’s doubles at the 2018 NJ Fall Classic in Mendham, NJ, and Silver in Mixed doubles in the 2018 Connecticut Fall Nutmeg Games. Besides pickleball she is an avid golfer and got her first hole in one this summer while traveling in Utah
Tina Marchie – IPTPA Level 1 Certified Instructor
Tina Marchie is an IPTPA Level 1 certified instructor. She is the co-founder of Pickleball Obsession, a pickleball apparel company. Tina has a sweet job. She is the owner of Family Farm Ice Cream in Middletown, NY. During Ice-cream season, Tina can be found on the courts in the morning and dishing up delicious treats in the afternoon. Tina has been playing pickleball for over three years and has been instrumental in promoting pickleball throughout Northern N.J. and Orange County, N.Y. Tina currently hosts private and group classes for beginner to intermediate students. Her enthusiasm and friendly personality puts students, of all ages and skill levels, at ease. As a competitor, Tina qualified for the National Senior Games in New Mexico 2019 and has also competed and medaled in numerous tournaments. In addition to teaching, Tina and her Pickleball Obsession team host tournaments and friendly pickleball socials like no other throughout New York and New Jersey.
